Confidentiality & Ethics
Not a policy. The architecture of everything we do.
Confidentiality is not a feature of Tacuma. It is its foundation. The reason this partnership works — the reason it can hold anything at all — is precisely because it sits entirely outside your organisation, with no line of accountability to anyone inside it.
What we will never do
- Report to your board, your line manager, your HR function, or any other person inside your organisation
- Share anything you say in sessions with any third party without your explicit consent
- Enter your organisation’s internal systems, communications or hierarchy in any form
- Maintain any internal presence or visibility within your organisation
- Use your information to contact you beyond the scope of the partnership you have entered into
- Sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for any commercial purpose
The only exceptions to confidentiality
There are two narrow, standard exceptions — both of which we will discuss with you openly at the outset of any partnership:
- Imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or others, where legal and professional duty overrides confidentiality
- Legal requirement to disclose information under a court order or statutory obligation
In all other circumstances, what happens in a Tacuma partnership stays there.
The questionnaire
The Leadership Pressure Profile questionnaire is completely private. Your results are not shared with your employer, your organisation, or any third party. The result belongs to you and you alone. Your contact details, if provided, are used only to send you your results and to make personal contact where your score band indicates it is needed.
Our ethical commitments
Tacuma practitioners work within the following ethical framework:
- We work within our competence. If a situation requires clinical, legal or medical expertise beyond the scope of this partnership, we will say so and help you find appropriate support.
- We do not create dependence. The work is designed to build your own capacity to design, sustain and protect your wellbeing — not to make you dependent on a practitioner.
- We work for you, not your organisation. If there is ever a conflict between your interests and your employer’s, our obligation is to you.
- We do not coach towards your organisation’s performance goals. Tacuma is a wellbeing partnership, not a performance tool.
- We hold testimonials and case material responsibly. No client is identified without explicit written consent. Attribution is always anonymised by default.
